Apricot Administrator Role

Choosing an Apricot Administrator

Organizational Considerations
  • An effective Apricot Administrator has the time and bandwidth to be able to take on the responsibility of understanding the system and keeping it working well. It’s a lot of work! You won’t want to pile it on someone who already has too much to do.
  • An effective Apricot Administrator has a vantage point across the organization, not just one program, so they can make decisions that work for the system as a whole, keeping the big picture in mind.
  • An effective Apricot Administrator has the power–or reliable access to power–to make decisions on behalf of the organization, follow up with staff on data quality issues, have access to details they need to make decisions, and gather consensus.
