NOTE: The Capacity Collective is NOT a part of Apricot or Bonterra. We are a separate consulting business, supporting community organizations to utilize the tool.
Whether you’re new to databases (including Apricot) or you’ve been using it for a while, we can support your Apricot needs! We have worked with dozens of community organizations through Apricot processes, from dreaming of possibilities to adding new programs to completely restructuring to work better. We don’t just do it–we show you how (if you are interested), so you can do it yourself with confidence in the future.

Training
We train staff in data entry, as well as how to use the data in their workflows. We also train administrators to maintain a healthy Apricot site after we’ve gone.
Reporting
We support you in organizing your reporting requirements and aligning your data collection with those requirements. We can also support reporting for you.
Data Migration
If you have data you have already collected in other places, such as spreadsheets or other platforms, we can support you in preparing and importing that data.
Workflows
We work with you to develop, improve and document data processes into workflows that minimize burden on staff and clients, and maximize data quality.
Data Quality
We can assess your current data quality, and/or provide training to staff on how to collect and enter quality data into your data system.

Apricot Preparation
We help you get ready to move your data from whatever format it is in (Excel workbooks, post-it notes…). This is more than just getting numbers ready: it’s dreaming about how a system can work for you to make your life easier, from data entry to reporting to using your data for good (e.g. advocacy or improvement).
Apricot Implementation
We work alongside you to create a highly customized Apricot site with forms, workflows, reports and bulletins that set you and your team up for success. We can migrate data from other systems, as needed. We can build your capacity to maintain the system internally, or support you long term as your Administrator.
Apricot Optimization
You’ve had Apricot for a while and it’s just not working how you want or need it to. We can help! We can assess your system and look for opportunities to streamline and improve your system. If you aren’t able to quickly report to funders, handle random data requests, incorporate data into your grant writing, prep for a board meeting or write an annual report, we can help!
Apricot Administration
We get it–not every organization can afford a dedicated data person. Even if you have someone supporting your data internally, that person often needs support, from maintaining the system to thought partnership on how to improve and expand how your data is collected, stored, analyzed and shared. We can support you as your part-time Apricot Administrator.
